Well, I am here to tell you that I GET IT! Yes, you can do these with any protein shakes but I personally choose the IT WORKS shakes! Why? Lemme tell ya!
It works shakes are SOY FREE, VEGAN, NON GMO and DAIRY FREE. They pack tons of protein in just 100 calories which can't be ignored and let's be real...they taste pretty darn good. All of that being said, I still needed to look for new ideas and ways to change it up. Getting healthy is about lifestyle changes that you can stick to and drinking the same old thing every day...that just wasn't going to cut it! So, without further ado...here are 5 things to do with IT WORKS (any) protein powder!
1. SWAP YOUR MORNING CAPPUCCINO THINGY!
Go ahead, raise your hand...hold it high! You may be that person who has to start their day with a pretty frappe drink. Sure, you order it with almond milk or non fat and maybe (I use maybe lightly) skip the whipped cream. Here is your chance to SWAP IT UP FOR SOMETHING HEALTHY! Brew a cup of coffee the night before and toss it in the fridge. In the morning, blend your protein powder with the chilled coffee and ice! BAM - instant morning kickstart!
2. HOLY PROTEIN ICE CREAM BATMAN!
This has to be a favorite and something I definitely recommend! Take two bananas and cut them into slices. Place them into a baggie and freeze overnight (not gonna lie, I do a whole bunch of bananas at a time so I am ready). In the morning toss the frozen bananas and a scoop of powder in a blender or food processor. Go ahead and toss in some nuts or fruit. Within seconds, you have a rich and creamy "ice cream".

3. HOT OATS!
Maybe we should lovingly call these PRO-ATMEAL....Well, maybe not! This can't get any easier! Make your typical oatmeal and add in your protein powder.
4. PARFAIT!
Getting your morning protein fix can be as easy as saying, "Parfait"! Blend your serving on protein powder with Greek or low fat yogurt. Top with fresh fruit and granola. SOOOO good and such a swap up!
5. MUFFINS!
This easy recipe has just 3 ingredients and is void of junk! Toss in your protein powder and you are in business!
